STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW AND RUN TO THE STORE ASAP.
These are the most amazing things in the world and YOU MUST TRY THEM.
The finale of the Bachelorette was last night and I wanted to make Scott a little treat for putting up with me watching the show every Monday night this summer.
I stumbled upon this recipe and thought it looked easy enough.
Not only is it easy, it is the most delicious thing you will ever put in your mouth.
I love cake bites. For the past two years Scott has gotten me 2 dozen of them from my fav bakery in Provo.
These just might be a new (cheaper) replacement.
AND ALL YOU NEED ARE THREE INGREDIENTS
Sorry for all of the shouting but as my husband said last night, "you need to tell the whole entire world about these"
Ok enough blabber.
One pack of birthday Oreos, one pack of Candiquik vanilla chocolate, and one 8oz package of cream cheese.
Oh and I added sprinkles
Now if you have a food processor this will be easy. Put the Oreos in and crush them.
But since I have a limited kitchen this summer, I did it by hand.
I split the Oreos into three ziplock bags.
And Scott and I smashed them to pieces
Pour the crushed Oreos into a bowl
Break up the cream cheese and add to the bowl.
This is much easier when the cream cheese is room temp.
Then miix it all together.
Then divide into 18 little balls.
Store those babies in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Right before time is up, melt your chocolate.
Candiquik is the best because it comes with a tray for the microwave
One and a half to two minutes later...
Take your bites out of the freezer and dip them in the chocolate.
Then add sprinkles if you want!
Put them in the freezer for another 10 minutes.
Then, take them out and dig in!
Enjoy!!
