Blueberry French Toast Casserole

We had the missionaries over for dinner last night and they requested breakfast food.

Which is not my thing.

This is pretty much the only breakfasty thing I can make.

My mom got this recipe from a friend and people usually like it.

So naturally, I didn't really have another choice.

Here is what you will need:

2 dozen rolls, 8oz package of cream cheese, 6 tablespoons of butter, 8 eggs, 1/2 cups of frozen or fresh blueberries, cinnamon, and 3/4 cups of maple syrup.

I grew up with my mom using challah bread instead of the rolls. But I cant find that anywhere, let alone anyone who knows what that is, so I use King's Hawaiian Rolls.

Preheat the oven to 350.

Take a dozen of your rolls and cut them in to fourths. And then cover the bottom of a baking dish with them

Then chop up for cream cheese and layer it over your bread.

Then take your blueberries and put those on top!

Then cut up the remaining bread and sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon on top!

Then in a bowl mix together the eggs, milk, butter, and syrup.

And then using a spatula gently press down on the bread so the mixture soaks through.

Cover with foil and refrigerate it overnight.

Bake uncovered for 45 minutes

Enjoy!
