I loooove cobbler. And this recipe is soooo delicious and sooo easy.
I may have had it for breakfast this morning...
Here is what you need.
1/2 cup of butter, 1 cup sugar. 3/4 cup flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 3/4 cup milk, and any 21 oz can of pie filling. I got peach. Duh.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Put your butter in your pie dish and pop it in the oven to melt.
While that's in there, mix your sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
Once it is all mixed together, add your milk and whisk until it is consistent.
Your butter should be all nice and melty so take it out of the oven.
Then take your batter and pour it on top of the butter. Do not stir!
Then open your filling up and spoon it on top of your batter. Once again don't stir!
I started in the middle and worked my way out.
If (and by if I mean when) I make this recipe again I would use more filling!
Then put it in the oven for 45-60 minutes.
Mine was ready after 45.
Take it out when the top is browned and the filling is bubbling.
Serve it hot!
And with ice cream!
Enjoy!
