Taco Pasta

Want to know the best thing about this meal?

You only get one skillet dirty.

That's right. Only one  dish to clean.

It's not that I hate washing dishes, but after cooking all afternoon the last thing I want to do is wash a bunch of pots and pans. This dish solves that problem!

Here is what you will need:

2 cups of cheese, 1 pound ground beef, 1/2 cup of chopped onion OR 1 tablespoon of onion powder, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1 package of frozen corn, 1 packet taco seasoning, 10oz elbow macaroni, 1 cup taco sauce, and 2 cups of water.

First thing brown your ground beef.

Drain the grease from your beef and then add garlic and onion.

Combine that until fragrant. Takes about 30 seconds.

Add in  corn, taco seasoning, and one cup of water

Once that is combined well, add in pasta and taco sauce.

Bring to a boil and then lower the heat to medium low and cover with a lid for about 7 minutes.

After 7 minutes, add one more cup of water, stir well. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes, or until pasta is cooked all the way through.

Remove from heat, add cheese and cover for a couple of minutes to let it melt.

Transfer into a serving dish and you are good to go!

Serve with some chips, sour cream, salsa avocado and whatever else your heart desires.

Enjoy!
